At present, China's data center industry is ushering in a period of rapid development. With the popularization of 5G, AI, cloud computing and other technologies, the amount of data is growing exponentially, and data centers, as the infrastructure of the digital economy, are playing an increasingly important role. However, the rapid expansion is accompanied by energy consumption and environmental pressures. According to statistics, in 2022, China's data center power consumption has accounted for more than 2% of the country's total power consumption, reducing energy consumption and improving efficiency has become an urgent issue for the industry. In this context, green energy saving and fast delivery solutions have become the core requirements of data center construction.
Project information
Located in Daxing District, Beijing, this project is a modern park-type data center with 2 data center buildings planned to be built and equipped with 6,000 racks. The total area of the project is 40,217 square meters, the construction area is 21,620 square meters, and the PUE value is lower than 1.2, fully demonstrating the design concept of green energy saving.
The project adopts highly integrated and prefabricated design, combined with advanced heat dissipation and energy saving technology, to achieve the characteristics of large network capacity, strong scalability, low delay, and fast operation speed, meeting the strict requirements of data centers for high efficiency and stable operation.
Industry-leading innovation breakthrough
The integrated and efficient cold station provided by Trane for this project has created a precedent in the field of data center refrigeration in China - the prefabrication rate of equipment is as high as 85%. This innovative design not only greatly improves delivery efficiency, but also achieves significant results in energy conservation and consumption reduction. It is estimated that the machine room system can save 16.58 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, and increase the annual operating efficiency by 20% to 50%.
